ABOUT TKOG DEFENSE CORPS™PROTECTION. ADVOCACY. ACCOUNTABILITY. SERVICE. POWER.
TKOG Community Defense Corps™ (publicly known as TKOG Defense Corps™) is an African American-led private civilian protection, advocacy and community-response initiative created by TKOG Community Development Corporation in partnership with TKOG Church™. Its defining public mandate is to help eliminate police brutality, make Black and Hispanic residents harder to ignore or mistreat, reduce community violence, organize national community protection and build permanent civic, service and leadership infrastructure at scale.
TCDC is being built as a central national hub people can call on when safety, rights, dignity or opportunity are at stake: trained witnesses, advocates, volunteers, chapter leaders, constitutional educators, professional partners, community-watch teams and service personnel connected through one operating system.
People of every belief and background, including nonreligious neighbors, are welcome. The public mission is demonstrated through service, civil liberties, justice, respect, transparent leadership and measurable community results.
